Who we are
ClassHub is an independent class portal built and operated by Saturn Designs. If you have questions about your data, contact us at studio.saturndesigns@gmail.com.
What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to run the class portal:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your password (stored encrypted, we never see the plain text)
- Your class enrollments and their approval status
We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or any information beyond the above.
Why we collect it
Solely to operate the class portal: to let you log in, to let the teacher post materials to his classes, and to let approved students view those materials. Your data is used for no other purpose.
Where data is stored
All data is stored in Supabase, a database service hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Seoul region (ap-northeast-2). No data is stored on any other server.
Who can see your data
- The teacher can see the full names and email addresses of students enrolled in his classes (pending or approved), so he can identify who is requesting to join.
- Students who are approved in a class can see their teacher's full name.
- No other user, third party, advertiser, or analytics service has access to your data.
Advertising and analytics
There are no ads on this site. We do not use any analytics service. We do not sell, share, or trade your data with any third party, ever.
Cookies
We use only the cookies that are essential for you to stay logged in. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies are set by this site.
Embedded content
Class materials may include videos or files embedded from YouTube, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive. When you view embedded content, you are connecting to those services directly, and their own privacy policies apply. YouTube embeds use YouTube's privacy enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) to minimise tracking.
Your rights
You (and, for students under 18, your parent or guardian) have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email studio.saturndesigns@gmail.com. The teacher can also remove any student's enrollment at any time, which withdraws that student's access to the portal immediately.
